Couldn’t agree more. I am not sure why Hoyne is criticising the uncontested mark gamestyle when both Port Adelaide and Essendon forced us to play that way and it worked for 7 of the 8 quarters. The one time we didn’t play a high possession gamestyle we got into a shootout with West Coast and lost?

As for Ken claiming that gamestyle gives us 12 goals, does he not realise in the first 3 games we have kicked 17 goals, 15 goals and 12 goals?

All for opinions and I think we are a long way off being a consistent ball moving side, however the ‘grave concerns’ are not warranted off the back of 1 poor quarter against Essendon.

Facts are, we have played 3 games, won 2. Won 9 of 12 quarters, hardly a doomsday situation.
FWIW - most of us are realistic about our performances thus far, as we know the teams weve played are around us or worse than us.
That's the metric were using.

After the Richmond game, we know the real tests begin and the fixture is cooked.

But were coming from such a low base that for once its ideal to be testing our ball movement against fellow cellar dwellers.

Again. Hoyne is a donkey.

They dont **** up ball movement anywhere near the level we do. But yes, I agree we are definitely trying to play that style and rightfully so, its a system that should bring a threepeat
"Trying" is the word that matters there ... but it is better this year from what I've seen so far.

I think that story might have something to do with today's date, somehow.
What does that mean?

The Gossage report was that Simmo has stepped back from all media commitments. He was just on AFL360, and he said he'll be doing our game on Friday.

It's April 1st so I assumed it was an April Fools Day joke.

While we are talking about April fool’s, I think the whole ‘Voss was sacked’ bit today was in poor taste. Not a Carlton fan, but that’s not April fools material.

lol did this bitch apologise to Clarkson
Or Keith Grieg?

Yet, she apologised to Ricky Barham for an article criticising the recruitment of certain players at the Sydney Swans after they had won premierships - that kind of apology is utterly unwarranted as it was simply a case of her judgement being at fault. Yet in all of her career, it is one of two instances she saw as being worth calling out as needing an apology!

In my opinion, when an apology is for something that was so inconsequential and is basically a slap on the back and the old, “you were right, I was wrong, sorry about that!” carry on, it’s a nothing statement.

Is it possible to hold a lower opinion of a person when your opinion is already as low as it goes?

Agreed.

It will be more appropriate for this to be reported on Friday night.
