Couldn't find a commiserations thread so just wanted to offer mine here.
I know what it's like for your team to dominate all year only to lose in the Grand Final and it's a very hollow feeling
My dad is a Saints supporter and while I was overjoyed with the result, I couldn't help but feel bad for all those Saints who haven't seen a premiership yet.
I have a new found respect for Clinton Jones for the job he did on Ablett, and suprisingly, my formerly most disliked player, Steven Baker, for the way he went about things.
If it wasn't the Cats, I'd love to see the Saints win a flag (or the Dogs) and I have little doubt that the Saints still have the cattle to do it.
A young and dominant backline, a mature midfield and a solid forwardline, all mixed with an urge for redemption next year, I can't see the Saints dropping off.
Good luck next year, I, and many other Cats fans, wish the Saints the best of luck.
