why don't you just download it??

Because my better half wouldn't be too keen on huddling around a computer to watch it and quite frankly, i couldn't be arsed putting something onto a disc when i can just IQ it.

I've got an IQ full of programs i struggle to find time to watch so i'm not bothered about having to wait a while to see a sitcom or drama.

You don't have to watch it on the computer after you've downloaded it.Put it on a USB and you can watch it through your TV or DVD player if they have a USB port.

It's 2011 bro, get a TV/DVD player/media player that can either stream stuff from your computer or has a USB insert.

Also huddling around a computer? Get a better PC screen bro, they are cheap.

I've got a Panasonic so no USB, only an SD slot, don't know about the dvd player.
I honestly don't mind waiting for shows to appear on Foxtel/FTA because i rarely have time to watch much anyway.

Why would i bother? As i said, my IQ box is full of stuff i don't have time to watch as it is so i often don't get to watch a show until weeks after it's aired thus i've no real need to rush to download something, let alone invest in more technology to watch them in comfort.

As for upgrading my technology, both my tv and dvd player cost me a fortune and whilst both are a few years old (in the dvd players case, more than a few years old) they've served me beautifully and i've got no real interest in upgrading either until they shit themselves.

I'd need to get a bigger SD card (only use them in the digital camera), but i might give that a try.

I've only recently shelled out for a wireless network adapter (quite possibly the most overpriced product in the world) after having my 360 for about 4 years, so i think it'll take me a few more years to get to the point of using Windows Media Centre with the 360.

If you are reasonably tech savvy you good have just got a router to use as a ethernet bridge for about $40 instead

Does the xbox play all file types but?

The PS3 doesn't play all files types.

Best thing to do is to buy a Western Digital media player for about $80 and a 1 Tera-bite external hard drive for $75 now and you're set to go. Plays every file known.

Doesn't play .mkv files, I think their is a way to but I cbf doing it so just hook up my laptop to TV with HDMI cord if I want to watch .mkv videos.

someone mentioned it was worth watching so i went last week and bought series 1. reckon im half way through it and absolutely love it. My missus doesnt understand a lot of it in regards to the 80's jokes and themes but its pretty good
