Honestly, I would rather see the show just die.

Not fussed either way really. I'd take more episodes, but if nothing happens I won't be that disappointed. The quality of the show has dropped that far that another season isn't that appealing. I've been rewatching Seasons 1 & 2 and it's astounding how good the show was back then. Seasons 4 and 5 for the most part didn't even feel like the same show, it lost its charm.

Even though the quality has been in steady decline for some time, i still can't help but feel happy that we're getting another season. Maybe with a few less limitations online as well? Disappointed that it's only 13 episodes again but better than nothing.

I read somewhere that they may be allowed to swear, so that could be interesting.

How did people find season 5 overall? I watched the first 3-4 episodes but it didn't seem to give me the same enjoyment as it had previously - does it pickup after that maybe? Given it's been renewed, I'm going to force watch the rest of the season in celebration

It was average. It had some classic Community episodes, and it had some that made Season 4 look good.

Great news!! Even though season 5 wasnt the best Community ever, it was still Community. We miss Troy and Pierce but Ill still definitely watch season 6.

Same here. I loved the first 2 seasons. We rewatched them recently and after watching season 5, i'd kind of forgotten how amazing those first 2 were. Brilliant TV those 2 seasons.

Seasons 1 & 2 were pretty consistently great. The subsequent seasons were occasionally great, but never bad enough for me to turn it off.
