computer email help

There has gotta be a way a fortnight ago i accidently deleted an unread email and it was sent to my trash.IS THERE any way possible to get it back.If so can anyone help.There has to be someone wih some knowledge of how to get his type of thing back.I heard once that nothing is ever really deleted from your computer.It was never backed up by the way it was just deleted never read and sent to the trash and emptied. Please post some solutions.

Take it out of the trash.

Seriously, a lot of email programs don't delete the contents of the trash until you request it. Failing this, get whoever sent the email to re-send it.

I'm on bad terms with the person who sent it the thing is I'm itching to find out what was said and yes the trash was emptied its gone but theres gotta be some way of getting to the hard drive to find it.This person will not resend it.But I want its email address so I can get back at them.

What email application are you using? (e.g. Outlook, Outlook express, Lotus Notes, hotmail etc)

Yahoo email I dunno that sounds dumb, but thats through optus and thats all I know.I'm not immature to own a computer. I just want some help, surely this email is on the computers hard drive and if so how can I get to it. There must be a way.
