can someone tell me if I can run two computers of the one internet connection, I have adsl, if so, is there certain parts i must have, and is it expencive ??

Yes, you can. My sister and I use the same Internet connection on our two computers.

I managed to hook up our two computers using a switch and come network cable.

I've got an adsl router, I hooked that up to an 8 port switch, which leads to the two computers.

I managed to pick up a cheap 8 port switch for about $40 plus the costs of the network cable. It works like a charm.

So something like :

You really should have post this on the comp board, these type of queries are usually quickly answered.

But the short answer is yes, how you go about it depends on your current setup (O/S, USB Vs Ethernet connection, type of dsl modem you have, proximity of other comps) and your budget.
