Sorry to intrude guys but just wanted to say congrats on winning the flag and also tell you what fun I had being Pie for a week.
My Business partner is a mad Collingwood supporter and like many of you has been waiting for his day in the sun.
In 2006 he came with me to watch my side win the flag and draped himself as an eagle for the week and embrace the GF and enjoy it with his best mate.
I was fortunate that I could do the same for him this year and became a pie for a week.
We travelled over and watched the drawn GF and then weighed up whether to stay for the week or not, the cost of hotels etc etc we could not justify so we came home and watched on the weekend.
It was so great watching my mate have such a good day and seeing him with his boys in collingwood gear.
It is hard not to like watching you guys play at the moment, you simply are an awesome team that plays an awesome brand of football.
To see first hand the passion of your supporters and the depth of that passion was a little bit of an eye opener. of course you guys have as many corporate supporters as everyone else but there is an underlying passion which stands out.
So just wanted to say well done by your club and for you supporters. To be a pie for a week was an experience we don't see here anymore since the WAFL became second tier. A real tribal feeling.
Thanks for a great couple of weeks and even better my best mate has finally seen his side win a flag.
All the best for the future. It looks bright for you guys.

....it's safe to say mutual respect does exist with some club supporters...so thanks for the well wishes.
Saying that, I had a BRILLIANT day on Saturday cheering your mob on. Being apart of the Collingwood chant on such a special day was really something
