Nice solid win by the Swannies. I just hope Fosdike is alright, other than that everything went great.

Adam Goodes had a great game, same with Kirky. Also probably getting Davis and Crouch back in the team next week, more positives for Sydney.

.. and yay for Doyle! Glad to see he got through the game well and the banner. Wasn't on for long but i can already see he's about 1 billion times better than Chambers.

I didn't understand half the decisions that were payed, couldn't see hardly anything in quite alot of them. Also, some of his comments? "Doctor Jolly?". He's the biggest smartass, cannot stand the man.. for more reasons then one.

They were ok i think. There were a few dodgy decisions either way, but i think it was even.

Ta Keithy. I thought Melb were admirable today. Their tackling in the first half in particular was as intense as any we've faced this year. And some of those defensive marks by the Demon players were insanely good.

Something tells me that the true margin bewteen these teams (from the players actually available to play today, I mean) was masked by the Swans' kicking, and by the Demons' accuracy.

10-3 to 14-11?

Hidden within this stat was a truly monumental demolition job.

I'd expect things to be a lot different if Melbourne play us again with their full list at hand.

I thought there were a lot of clumsy tackles both ways. Most frees looked to be there but there were a few mystifying ones.

Goldspink was no more than 10 metres away with a clear view when Grundy was backing back and his opponent was stretching his jumper out that caused him to drop them mark. No way he could have been unsighted.

Yup, kicking today wasn't as bad as it has been in the past but in the last quarter especially we missed some easier ones.

Overall I think our kicking was indicative of how we played. Lacklustre comes to mind.

Almost as if a few of our blokes were coasting.

It was mentioned on RWO that Kennelly played on Yze, which he very well may have done, but it looked to me that he was also wearing a tag.No 17 Chris Johnson seemed to be hanging around him a bit. Certainly wasn't allowed to run off HB as much as he does.

The game was great to watch. I enjoyed it and i'm glad we walked away with the 4 points and soar into 3rd spot! =] Our goal kicking was particularly better than the last few weeks, but in the last Q...we kicked quite alot of behinds. Some easy shots were missed by Barry Hall... hmmm...

The majority of the players we playing at their best and i have to single out Teddy Richards and Adam Goodes.

Teddy played his best with the swans this year, without a doubt. He is great at defending, and great at spoiling. He made great marks and some of his kicks [finally] are effective!!! hehe...but he played well.

Adam Goodes gotta receive those brownlow votes, cos if he doesn't...who would??? He was explosive in the first half...and had the momentum shift going. Great mark, great at running and good goal kicking! He had like 30 possessions???? An absolute star!! =]

Some strange calls/non-calls both ways for sure, as for Goldy I wish the TV networks would put a mute button on his mic, it is becoming like a little yapping dog listening to him
