I didnt think I was going to be home to watch the game, so I taped it. Turns out I got home before the game started, but decided to tape it anyway. Im glad I did!

Just thought I would drop in and say congrats for an awesome game. I thought you deserved to win that - you outplayed us. I havnt seen it happen on that scale for a year.

I hope you can play footy like that week in, week out. Was good to see, and although you didnt get the win, you should be proud of your efforts. Although giving up a 39, and then 24 point advantage, I think there were good signs.

Giving up those leads were obviously disappointing but having said that, the Cats were awesome in their ball movement and teamwork. They just know how to move and adapt to the play. Well Done Cats!

Shattered, but proud. I almost had to restrain myself from ripping up every newspaper at work today. And when customers asked how I was I was like "Ahhhh...ok?"

Freo can go a long way if they play like that all the time! Sandilands was super-dominant, like a bloke his size should be, and your young midfielders really stepped up. I hadn't heard of Ibbotson, and Palmer is only playing his 4th game or so, and they really outplayed Geelong last night. I've followed Geelong since the late 70's and really only one or two wins in all that time have been gained when outplayed so much by the opposition, St.Kilda both times in the late 80's.

I'm sure the Dockers can get some wins up with their coming games, 1-5 is not great, but Geelong went from 1-4 to finish 15-7 in 2004 with a young list. Pavlich is a star, and there's no reason why the Dockers cannot get back on an even keel this year, or more!

I would like to thank your club and supporters for the entertainment I was given last night. That was the best game I have gone to for atmosphere, tough extreme pressure football. The atmosphere was better than the final against Melbourne I went to 2 years ago. Congrats again on taking it to the premiers. You guys should be proud.

I just want to echo the sentiments of the above posts. I sat all night on the edge of my seat!!

Luck (or lack thereof) definitely played a role in last nights outcome.

Every Dockers player should hold their heads high today and fans should stand proud.

What I saw last night was an incredible display of focused, highly contested football combined with accurate passing, supportive team play and individual brilliance. Used to seeing that from our side

The spirit shown in Freo's game indicates better things for you to come and I wish you all the best.

Really proud of the boys though, cause Geelong are a super team who can hurt you with a 5 minute burst.
