I am so pleased that Murphy has got to this milestone given the serious injuries he has suffered over the journey.

It has been sad along the way to read & hear some of the criticism aimed at him by a minority of Carlton supporters. The guy bleeds blue & has stuck with the club through the toughest of times, while some have sought greener pastures.

His 2011 season was as good as we have seen from any of our players over the last decade or so (Judd included) & his 2017 season was pretty bloody good too.

I am optimistic that if his body holds up well this season, we will see plenty of vintage Marc Murphy.

What a fantastic servant of the club he has been.

On the subject of milestone game wins, I was there when big John was the first Bagger to join the 300 club. We beat the Tiggers that day. I was selling ice-creams at the G. 1973 I think?

Yep I am someone who has had digs at Murphy. But really hope he shows his best tonight. No questioning him as a clubman and stand up guy who stuck with the club when you couldn't blame him for chasing a flag elsewhere.

Murphy was pretty good tonight. Ran the game out well and had good GPS numbers. Looks set for a decent season bar injury
