Congrats guys. I would have loved for us to run it a little closer (or even got the win) but a classy and intense start to the 4th quarter saw you cement the victory.

It wasn't the prettiest or best game from either side especially in terms of skills (well mostly WC but St Kilda were a little down in patches on their normal level) but defensive pressure was the focus with the Saints applying the right amount at the right time.

Both teams supporters probably have things to be a little happy yet a little disappointed about but your overall class won out today so congratulations again on the win!

I think we should have expected something like that from the Saints after last week, and the Eagles did well to capitalise. I know the Saints playd badly, but jeez the Eagles made some simple errors. And I'm sure they could have gone a lot closer if they didn't let the Saints run lose for the first 5 minutes of the last.

Games at Subi are always a tough slog and I think we know never to take it easy regardless of the two teams positions on the ladder. Is always a real test.

Good luck next week, you guys have a real chance against the Power.

Hahahaha as for the Power at AAMI, maybe but they will be looking to hurt us for the loss they suffered to us earlier in the year, also good luck next week against Adelaide something is telling me this one may go nearly as close as the Geelong game despite the fact I rate St Kilda as a decently better team.

Thank you West Coast fans for being gracious in defeat. You jumped us last year after a similar big match for the Saints, but this time we had enough in the tank to hold you off. A valliant effort at home - it may not get you any points on the ladder but it earns you more respect (as opposed to your 1.7 13pt neighbour).
