Gee, an opposition supporter comes over to your board to say well done, and to reply with this?

Anyway, well done. Hopefully we see both of your teams on the final Saturday in September. :thumbsu:
Not just any opposition supporter. Hawthorn!!

They should just cop whatever we throw at them. Trolling pricks :D

Yep, he can piss of back to his own board and lick his wounds, im not interested in being nice because of all the other w***er hawthorn supporters on this board. No offence to hawkk. He's probably the only one we will see around for the next few weeks.

Not all of us, act like a dick with those that deserve it, treat with respect those that deserve it.;)

What's the point of congratulating when the supporters of the opposition are going to be arrogant... and not admit that they were tested by a great young team on the up...

I think Geelong is the best team at the moment. But I came here to congratulate, and find some of the responses to those genuine Hawthorn fans congratulating on the win to be so low and lame.

Congrats on the win, shame you lack humility.

Glued to the radio, pacing it out in that last quarter. Just like the Preliminary final last year against the Pies. Geelong showing they can win hard as well as win with big margins. Hodge is just a ball-machine, always wills himself into the action. Campbell brown kicking 2 goals made me think back to the '88 pre-season Grand Final when the absolutely unexpected Chris Mew kicked 2...thought he was going to steal it from the Cats.

Great game, massive contest. Will be good though getting Ablett, Ling and Milburn back, with those outs and still prevailing it's a great sign for Geelong. Hawks are definately the real deal.

One troll hardly represents all of us

Yes we were tested, yes it was a great game.

Cheers mate.:thumbsu:

Cats are amazing...

No Ablett, Ling, Wojinski or Milburn, not to mention Chappy off for half the game who was BOG or close to at the time...pressure game, looked like they were gonna get overrun and yet win and win confortably in the end...

Hats off to you guys - hope you go back to back should the Tigers not make the 8 and pull someting out of our arses!!!

Hawkers, bad luck, hope you make the grand final and lose by more than port last year!!!

I'll be up front and say that the Hawk posters on here are being very magnanomous in coming on to offer their congratulations after a very tight tough game. They aren't the ones who have given us the irrits with trolling in the past.

However, perhaps Cat responses might be as a huge let-off of steam from 37 games of listening to Hawks>Cats type material.

Still goes to show, that Hawthorn as their amazing record shows in the last 30 years or so reveals, are Geelong's toughest opponent. This also is though just the 4th win by Geelong over Hawthorn by less than 2 goals since the late 70's.

1981:- Geel 7.17.59 vs Hawks 8.8.56

1983:- Geel 14.11.95 vs Hawks 12.16.88

2001:- Geel 14.9.93 vs Hawks 13.12.90

Hawthorn have won about a dozen games over Geelong by 12 points or less in the last 20 years....about time we won a close one!!

Lighten up sweetheart.

The Hawks were terrific tonight and they have showed they are the true no 2 team in the comp. Thanks for your congrats and see you in september. We are allowed to be arrogant on our board so just remember Hawks supporters that you are visitors here.
