With talk of controllers taking over the discussion of Best FPS, I thought it perhaps an idea to start a separate thread.

Looks like the vastly superior 360 controller is now to fix the 1 minor fault that it had, the ordinary d-pad:

If the D-Pad is to be corrected, it will take all points over the PS3 dual shock / sixaxis IMO.

EDIT: Sorry, not all points. The PS3 controllers still have the upper hand with it being able to charge without purchasing a peripheral

A lot of people praise the shoulder triggers on the 360, I am not a fan of it. I guess I haven't played it that much (I have a PC contoller similar to it though). I'm a bigger fan of the 2 shoulder buttons on the PS controllers although the anologue facet of the shoulder buttons are better on the xbox.

My favorite controller is still the gamecube. The 64 wasn't that bad, but you could almost cut off the left 3rd.

Yes, Gamecube was the best. I owned one for a year before selling it due to the shitty games Gamecube had.

It was so comfy and just seemed to mould to your hands. Loved it.

I loved the triggers.

Was a good controller.....I agree though, there were not many great GC games.

BUT, they did have 2 of the greatest....Res Evil 4 and Twilight Princess
