Contested marks on Legend difficulty

Hey all,

Is anyone having problems taking any kind of contested mark when playing on the legend difficulty level? If its a one on one contest my man will always be bumped out of the way and the opposition will take the mark.

Any tips on how to beat this?

No probs for me, though I try not to kick to a contest most times.

Not sure if you've heard mate, but you are meant to be able to bump a player before a marking contest with the right stick, however at the moment the right stick spoils instead, so you can't bump. Big Ant will be fixing this in the upcoming patch so that L2 + right stick = spoil......and right stick by itself in a marking contest will bump.

For now, I find holding sprint and pressing the mark button as late as you can, so that your guy has a good chance at getting into the best position before he attempts the mark, works for me when it realistically should. Will be 10x better when the patch is out though.
