Not sure if this has been discussed here yet but in the first 5 minutes against West Coast, there was a distinct change in the way we moved the ball. We chipped the ball around, playing keepings off, having probably the first 20 possessions before the opposition touched it.
This controlling of the tempo let us pile on the first 2-3 goals before West Coast scored.
In my opinion, it was a incisive change in our game plan and for my money, it worked.
It was disappointing to see that, like in the North game, we started well, got in front and then fell back into our old, non-structured ways.
Did anyone else notice? What were your thoughts?
