Here it is written in a less boneheaded way than Adelaide now's clickbaity crap.

Largest ever global study of COVID vaccines finds small but real link to neurological, blood, heart-related conditions

So, basically, the vaccines increase your risk of heart inflammation from very very very low to very very low.

Your anecdotal experience that these "vaccine injuries" occur more frequently than incidence of long covid doesn't seem to be reflected in statistics.

Of course, people who've been jabbed can get long covid anyway. But the incidence is significantly lower compared to being unvaxed.

My "anecdotal evidence" was mentioned specific to my own clinical practice only. No where did I extrapolate that any further than the confines of my office - you did that all by yourself.

Through my own clinical practice I've seen my patients post covid vaccination experience myocarditis, pericarditis, transverse myelitis and Guillain Barre Syndrome and more. Whilst I also have patients who are going through long covid, the frequency of this (in my practice at least) pales in comparison to those who are presenting in my office vaccine injured.

Since you mentioned it as a basis for your clinical observations.

What particular profession are we talking about here?

One that sits under the umbrella of AHPRA.
So happy to name the national registration agency but not your specific medical profession that you referred to for authority. How odd.

I'm guessing a chiropractor or podiatrist. Both honourable allied health professions btw with important roles to play in health care.

But referencing the health profession you practice just gives us a better measure of your particular expertise to comment on the subjects covered in this thread.

Whilst I respect your opinion, I disagree that my profession is relevant outside of saying that I am under AHPRA and work as a primary care practitioner.

The demographics that primary care practitioners see are fairly similar across the board unless you're specialising in a specific cohort of the population (like aged care or paediatrics).

Fair call. Thanks.

Same here. I know not one person with any type of vaccine injury but several with post covid complications.

I don’t deny there would be ramifications for some from the vaccines though, but I have seen none, and just about everyone I am acquainted with has had several covid19 vaccines.

I have had the vaccines and I have had covid, and I sure as hell know which one I would rather experience to get some type of immunity.

I guess we all run in different circles and so our anecdotes are different.

My son who suffered long covid from an infection a couple of years ago has covid again now and is struggling yet again. It is painful to watch as a parent and as I have said many times I worry for my grandchildren as they will likely have this infection repeatedly. It’s a concern what it will do to their T cells over time. We really don’t yet understand the long term ramifications of letting it rip for some perceived herd immunity.

All a bit too late now though as it is here to stay.

Through my own experience, I dont know anyone thats had a "vaccine injury". I've met plenty of people who've had some form of long covid.

That information is about as good as chewys.

I work in health. If we counted covid deaths and vaccine deaths the same way this would be a different discussion.

Ever wonder why healthcare workers were so reluctant to take the vaccine?

Are you able to provide any statistics which show the percentage of health care workers in SA who were vaccinated against covid compared to the percentage of the general population who were covid-vaccinated at the same time?

I know of plenty of healthcare workers who were hesitant, and whilst some of these people ended up getting the shots because financially they weren't in a position to stick to their principles, others did follow through and in one case I had to let one practitioner go in my office once the mandates kicked in.

They weren't, only the dumb ones like that crows AFLW player.

The overwhelming majority had no issue.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the number of medical professionals who were anti vax was a much lesser proportion compared to the general populace

Short memories. It was originally mandated because the uptake was so low.
Very few voluntarily took it.

Vaccination rates were in single percentage figures in the RACFs that I was involved in.
In one instance, a list went up with the names of staff that weren't vaccinated in a attempt to pressure them into it.

Except he appears to be in the medical fields, so his information is worth more.

Who would've guessed that it was those two guys who jump over one another to post about never experiencing or witnessing negative vaccine reactions?

What were the odds?

$1.001?
