Again, the states control everything you're bitching about. Do you also scream at the Feds to FIX THE HOSPITALS each election like so many others do? The Pandemic just re-enforced that we don't teach anyone at schools well enough on our countries systems of government.

It's always like that with deaths AND births (in India), two countries where poor people don't exist to half the population. If you never existed you never died in their eyes. You can be sure as shit it ripped through the slums for 12 months before it got noticeable when people who can afford to go to doctors and hospital started getting it.

I can picture it now, people jumping up and down and whinging in the media because returning Aussie athletes get priority over their relies who are stuck overseas.

I reckon they need to keep Howard Springs available for returning Aussie athletes. The Australian Team will not all return at the same time and some such as Ash Barty may head for other parts of the globe but it will not be a small task to quarantine them all. 472 athletes plus officials will need to be quarantined. You can bet someone in the team will be infected. From what I can see the Games Village is a series of high rise apartments not unlike Quarantine Hotels in design.

I don't know these guys were reading the room properly before going ahead with the games but the focus is not on competition or the athletes anymore.
