Naturally let the virus happen while developing a normal vaccine with proper testing and studies, whereby a person will have the option to take it or not without any reprecussions

You know the same approach we have taken for every virus until now

I can't remember any of them being terminally ill or they were given the vaccine after a long battle with illness. Is that is so, it makes giving them an experimental vaccine worse.

There was also the report of 32 out of 263 residents dying after getting the COVID 19 vaccinations on 22nd December 2020, in a NY nursing home that had not had any COVID deaths.

You missed the core argument.

With the virus each death is very important and is all equal

With the vaccine each death is just a ”who cares, they were going to die anyway” approach

Are you a organ donor and will you be one? If not. Why?

A organ donor saves 4 lives, in the interests of public health, should every single person not be forced to give up their organs when they die? If so, why or why not

Yes I'm an organ donar and I think it should be assumed everyone is an organ donar unless they have specifically opted out .
Vaccines are different in that you need 70% of the population to obtain herd immunity so you need to act as a collective group .
The ones that don't want a vaccine stuff it up for everyone else.

Thats a nice imaginary goal post you brought in. Herd immunity should be a community decision, not a you decision. Your body, your rights after all.

So do you go tell everyone you are a organ donor and tell them they are selfish for not being one? If not, why

If it ever came up I would recommend to everyone to be an organ donar.
Covid will not go away without herd immunity .Herd immunity is good for the population as a whole. Humans are all potential carriers and spreaders and we're humans.
Organ transplants don't require herd immunity so if not everyone does it , it is still saving lives

So you will preach vaccination Without being asked but not a organ donor? Why the difference?

One disease in our lifetime has ever gone away and that was not even in the same stratosphere as this in terms of reach. You are trying to achieve the unachievable goal

If you want to achieve something impossible, I’d start with ending world hunger first

The bottom line is less people will die a horrible death if we don't obtain herd immunity or maintain lockdowns.
It's not fair on nurses to have to treat infectious patients every day .
The vaccine is the sensible way to go and I don't particularly like getting one, but it's better than choking to death in an empty room.

Less people will die if we open up the economy, spend the trillions worldwide in generated income solely on healthcare, clean water and food supply

Its not fair on nurses to be overrun 8 years in a row with illnesses in winter In the UK, provide the money to fix it and move on. Do you think the nurses were like “Well being overrun with people with suicide attempts is fine, just get that pesky virus away”. I don’t think so. Letting them be overrun for any reason is wrong and your imaginery fix isn’t going to help

We should be providing them more resources not hoping on a magic beans and a beanstalk or a 9 month old vaccine

If you ask the nurses or any other health professional, they want people to take the vaccine.
Epidemiologists know what's best better than you or I, there's no conspiracy.

You're a Science man. This vaccine doesn't prevent transmission, just improves outcomes for those that get the virus. If it doesn't stop transmission, how does it help in obtaining herd immunity?

I'm sure that the number of people who would want to opt out of getting the Covid vaccine would be well under 30% so we should have no problem reaching your 70% mark for reaching herd immunity anyway.

I'm not fanatical about not getting the vaccine and would prefer not too but would if it affected my lifestyle too much ie. inability to travel or attend group gatherings like concerts/sporting events.... in other words I would take the risk of not suffering any significant side affects just like I'm fine with taking on the risk of a maskless lockdown free life re Covid. I would be quite willing to go into home isolation though if I had some symptoms got tested and was positive.

Yet herd immunity for a virus with 99% survival is too ineffective and won't work yet a vaccine will.
One thing the trolls on here do have right is this is an echo chamber. We are preaching to the converted which is great but I've lost the will to argue. Too much idiocy about in the world.

Ask any nurse in the worle

What do you want? More resources, more equipment, more staff and a higher wage or a bunch of 10 year olds to get a vaccine from a disease they won’t get sick from. what option you reckon they wanna take
