Let’s hope so. We could maybe also reduce the incidence of colds and flu now that we are used to social distancing, hand hygiene and masks. Also workplaces may come down more heavily on workers showing up clearly unwell.

Not if they run out of sick leave, unless it becomes unlimited then people are still going to turn up sick and keep mum about it especially those who don't have the luxury of WFH.

No one is social distancing, people washed their hands before this and the masks please, as soon as it ticked 6pm the other friday everyone ripped them off which showed you that people were only wearing them because someone told them too because if it was about the virus they would still be wearing them now.

Every activity in a public hospital/health unit has a commonwealth funding cost associated. Flu and covid activity were different costs.

Not really 'incentives' but any manager thinking ahead or in line with their budgets are obviously picking the higher figure...

The beauty of it, the sheep will say "but covid is new and so vastly different, it should be different". Which goes back to yesterday with the mental gymnastics from these braindead morons that somehow the flu just 'disappeared' like magic...

It's the vaccinated that are spreading mutations, and in the South African trials the AZ injections were no longer effective against them.

What's spreading death in Australia? Not COVID, which is less deadly to the same advanced aged age groups who die from the flu and have been protected with flu jabs.

The disruptions to people's lives, bankruptcies and business and schools closing are caused by the complete over reaction by governments and I'm very sorry to say, people like you who can't think for themselves.

Wasn't rumour but documented federal funding for as every patient with COVID getting $39,000 from being ventilated and and extra $13,000 if treated in hospital compared to someone treated for the same condition eg pneumonia but not with a COVID 19 diagnosis.

Shame it was proved later that the venerators were making the condition worse and killing patients instead of helping them. Different ICU treatment with steroids recommended now

I have no problem with every shop having hand sanitizer available for use and social distancing where possible(I didn't like strangers too close and breathing down my neck even pre Covid), also don't like people coming to work who are obviously sick.

What I can't stand is those bloody god damn masks, just hate wearing them.

Also I go for a walk almost everyday and I'm starting to notice masks more and more discarded in gutters, parks etc. eventually there will be millions of them in waterways and oceans.
