The problem with this is, that your actions don't exist in a vacuum when you live in a society with other people. It's like smokers arguing they should be able to smoke, whilst ignoring that smoking in a public space has impacts upon other people.

I don't particularly care what people do, but when you're coming on here, espousing your views, you're leaving yourself open to criticism.

It's like people being 'anti-vax'. Many vaccines are proven to work, and proven safe. So it's a flawed position, an ideoloigcal position.

If you're anti this vaccine, then it comes down to why. If it's because you believe that you should be exempt from any form of communal responsibility, even though you partake of communal society, then there's an issue. If you're skeptical because it's been a very abbreviated timeline and there may be side-effects that haven't had sufficient time or a sufficiently large sample size to be idenitifed, then that's a sensible enough position.

Oh, you're one of those - well, I knew there was a good reason to avoid you. Sneaky m'therf!cker - you will not be a real woman, no matter how much you try to behave like one. No matter how much they seem to accept you in the knitting and bitching circles - they really think less of you. They will have you running around doing their errands and you will be the eunuch called for when they please - as collectively your empty moralising makes life a living hell for everyone that is unfortunate enough to know the circle of misery you stew in.

The UK regulator has changed the clot warning from the death jabs from 4 per million to 8 per million. Note that the news reports say "8 in a million" instead of "1 in 125,000", because "million" makes it sound more remote

My great fear with this is the shocking abuse of the law and police resources.
Sure people will refuse to follow this
But if police resources and the courts are tied up in enforcing this ridiculous inconsistent bullshit trust in these institutions gets lost (similar to how it erodes after corruption scandals).
Then people decide they don't need to follow the law at all. It's a slippery slope to anarchy or a US type situation.
This is an abuse of office and power. While you may not like certain politicians or parties if trust in the foundations of society and the principles we have built our societies on is lost. Then what?
All these idiotic lockdowners are doing is cheering on their preferred party without an understanding of the damage been done.
As the GoSgio eagles poster says above if we reduce society to bland arguments over fitting the data to one side we are stuffed.
