It's now for a decent period and not 14 days, FMD when are people going to wake up to this liar.

Mr Andrews has said his government would make a decision on easing Melbourne's restrictions only when the 14-day average was under 50 "for a decent period".

Goalposts have already changed.
Goalposts are constantly moving. This isn't ending ffs. When will people realise this?
In Melbourne you can not visit family, friends, you can only go outside for certain periods education and other health services are deniedetc. This is fundamentally off. We won't be back to normal by Christmas. Labor will not act. Not will the courts here. This only changes by Federal government or the high court.
And we are held hostage by an insane premier who says do as I say or I'll take more of your rights and dignity any time I choose (as thou he owns us) or is playing god in trying to eradicate a virus who's types exist every year.
This state is nuts. You see people outside in 25 degrees in fresh air surrounding no one in masks ffs.
And all the intersaters cheering this shit on are ****ing idiots. As if they give a shit about everyones health? They are happy to have us chucked under the bus to protect their turf.

I'm about to head out for a while without a mask on as i have done since dumbo made them law, heading down to my local beach to see if any covidcrazies are wearing masks while they are in the water, odds are there will be.

Dumbo needs professional help IMO, no way he is mentally sane.

Also today when responding to the protesters, he told them to go home and that this coronavirus is a human lives exercise and not about your rights, what the **** is human lives exercise.

As JobKeeper slowly decrease / stops, and JobSeeker goes back to where it should be, crime will increase. It's inevitable. They'll have genuine Police work to do, as opposed to the harassment of innocent people they're engaging in now.

JobKeeper will create a whole new breed of - criminals (people will refuse to work 9-5 for less money than they've been given for doing nothing for most of 2020 - crime is easier), and more welfare babies who will seamlessly go onto JobSeeker and just deal with getting less money for nothing. Watch Labor fight relentlessly to maintain the JobSeeker covid supplement for good.

Sounds as though they want the washed up Police (rent-a-cops?) to be the house sitters for those with the virus (more reasons for people not to get tested). Was down at my local beach at lunchtime on the surf coast, masks pulled down or off everywhere, I'm seeing it more and more... It's catching on, like a virus. :grinning:

Yeah, me too. Am seeing quite a few with no mask at last. Was at my local shops yesterday and saw another person without a mask and see a lot walking by my house now with the mask below their nose or around their chin. Tide is turning hopefully.

That is best case scenario. Maybe the pressure and exhaustion has hit home and he just isn't thinking rationally. Is listening to bad advice is a hypocondriac covid nut himself and has spiralled. In worst case it is ****ed.
I will say I have never seen a politician just implode like this. In a few months he went from basically nill opposition just some issues with congestion (which he inherited and tried to fix) Job was his as long as he wanted to this shit show of a state. Unbelievable

I got no issues with pro choices or BLM but where they slip is they always contradict themselves. So nothing they say is taken seriously.
Similar to the right they shock jock every issue so when finally something does happen that needs urgent action people don't listen. Just follow the crowd or support their own side leading to
If only this was satire.View attachment 965263
I mean seriously wtf. This is a bad parody

In unemployment context job keeper is interesting. Pre 2020 unemployment benefits were insufficient and jobs simply weren't there. And some workplaces do use this to their advantage.
But to go to ripping up the whole show destroying good honest businesses as well and using vulnerable people to push this insane agenda via job keeper is sick. And these people agree to be locked in as the pay off. And exhausted workers are happy for a break It's a form of Stockholm syndrome. And speaks to a sick society that is now being pillaged.
But you're right. We've had elections decided on a few percentage interest rates negative gearing and franking credits.
People will lose their shit if jobkeepee rug gets yanked

People will lose their sh*t if jobkeepee rug gets yanked

When their JobKeeper gets yanked, yes.

Dicktator Dan can't even rescue his faithful on this one, it's decided on a federal level. Labor claim to be all about being in the interest of the lower socio economic bracket of society, what they're doing to the economy will impact these people more than anyone else, much more.

People who are financially secure almost always sail through economic downturns, it's the week to week people who don't.

Of course it will be Morrison's fault - Dan and Co. caused this entire mess, Morrison will be the bad guy for pulling JobKeeper - Dan puts his hands up in the air.

i mean it’s easy for me here in Perth to dismiss the ridiculous Melb restrictions where everything has been completely normal here with a flat out economy for the last 3 months...but in the words of Dan the Man ..” Can i just say “...that it’s completely absurd how long this crap has been going on in my long lost home town of Melbourne.

There is no situation where zero cases exist in a city as dense as Melb when it comes to CV19.

It will never end.

He is flogging a dead horse on his relentless belief that some fine day things will be ok and will continue to take the city towards oblivion until such time in the future (that will never arrive) when zero cases happen for over 4 weeks.

It’s just absolutely mind boggling how long this has been going on for.

“ Clusters” is the new catchphrase.

More like a cluster #### of government.

Want to know the real reason why the Afghan families weren't fined..........

Can't fine people for catching it at work and then taking it home.

The bullshit that they broke the rules and were meeting up was cover for the fact that they got infected in aged care.

Also as of Wednesday the 16th September, 633 of the previous 14 days total of 719 cases were in Aged Care and Healthcare.

The virus is virtually non existent on the streets of Melbourne.
