If Lyon was coaching in 05, Roo, Ball, Fish, Dal and BJ would have all been too young and / or inexperienced to get a game.

We would have still been running out with Loewe, Burke, Tony Delaney, Tim Elliott and Wells Eicke - while Roo kicked 10 in the seconds each week.

GT actually built that team. Lyon inherited the best list St.Kilda has ever put together

Honestly haven't felt the same about footy since he retired. Club lost its soul that day. Still trying to find it.

We really need some heroes. We have some good players but no champion. We always had someone in my time, it feels weird not having someone with all our hopes pinned to them. Stuv was probably closest. Now we are in transition.

Gellie. He was a bit wobbly as a coach. Worst record of any saints coach over 10 games. Not his fault though. We didn’t have enough money to even pay the players.
