He was good in the Champs, and did play a bit of CHB there, but at 192 cm, he is just another JON with much better skills I reckon. And while that sounds good, Cotchin is even better.

If we pass up Cotchin, I will be devastated. Just sounds like Lids Mk II. He's idols are even Judd and Lids! Give him number 2 and the locker next to Lids!

Theres quite a good number of onballers in the top 20, but after that it drastically drops off. Anyway, Carlton would be stupid not to take Kruezer, they have Hampson, Ackland, Aisake O'Halpin and Cloke as there ruckman + Setanata. However Ackland and Cloke are merely depth players and I doubt Ackland will be there next year. If they take two onballers instead of the best possible player and an onballer they would be very dumb.

On a Richmond perspective, hopefully Scotty Sellwood or Riolio fall to 18. Sellwood is lacking pace but in our team pace isn't an issue as we have plenty of fast midfielders, he need more skilled extractors which is was Sellwood is. However, we definatly need to take a ruckman at pick 19. Which gives us Simmo, Patto, Gus, pick 19 and hopefully a PSD ruckman ala Charman, Wood, Meeson, Moran etc + Polak and Tuck .

What other needs to the Tiges have after that? Tall defenders (with Gaspar, etc done)? Patto looks a good prospect in the ruck, though there's nothing much after him and Simmonds, as far as I know.

Scott Selwood is more of a Campbell Brown. Runs through walls, loves the contest. Not really that flash or eye-catching. Plays backpocket and takes no prisoners. I'd guess the 20-30 range, a little higher because of the pedigree.

Kevin Sheahon was just on SEN and was talking about Cotchin saying he had 34 touches on the weekend and is descibed as a Gary Ablett Jnr and said was playing mainly in the midfield aswell. Also suggested he could rival Kruezer for the number 1. I want Cotchin badly. A clone of Gary Junior is fine with me...
