Could a club get 80k against an interstate team except Lions or Swans?

I think 10k would be around the mark. You watch a Crows game at Marvel or MCG, there's big Crow numbers in the crowd - most of them are based in Melbourne, but they still count.
If you're saying that curious to know how many Lions and Swans fans you estimate at Melbourne games?

Part of people wanting to go to games is the excitement of the occasion. Does anyone ever feel that about a Melbourne game as an opposition supporter? Not a shot at Melbourne by the way but the figures and attendance speak for themselves.

I have a feeling most Non Victorian clubs supporters would pencil in the Collingwood match at the start of the year as one they would like to attend if given the chance.

15k for Swans, more for big games, 20k for big games at the G

A few thousand lower for the Lions, although that may have changed given their recent success after years of poor performance.

True.

In the 90s I loved going to Nke5h games on Friday night cause they were awesome to watch and watching Carey play.

It did sour a little after the Noeth attempted merger with Fitzroy, so glad we went with Brisbane.

It doesn't happen as much these days but being a Storm fan as well used to love going to the G Saturday afternoon, then go grah a patma then go to the Storm game Saturday night

We played you guys ANZAC day weekend and from memory got 29k. I reckon it was 40-50% Lions fans

I didn't watch that game so I can't talk about it specifically, but expats at Crows games in Melbourne and Fitzroy and South Melbourne supporters produce big numbers at games in Melbourne.

Pies crowds against the Crows & Freo this year suggests it’s not out of the question. Crows game was played on a 13 degree day and Dockers on a 15 degree day

R11 2007 (Essendon vs West Coast) = 48,913

Cracking night at Telstra Dome this one. Friday night footy. West Coast the reigning premiers and on top of the ladder, they jumped us early and I reckon got out to about a 6 goal lead. We pegged em back and got up by a point, the joint was rocking.

Scotty Lucas was launching em from 60… Hird and Judd spent a bit of time playing on each other.
