I know it is wise to keep a lid on things....But five weeks ago how many of us thought we would be here. Since then almost every result has gone our way. SO let me indulge a little.

A first up final at the G agaisnt the Pies was not a good thing for the us. Even if we won next week we would probably line up agasint WCE the following week. I dont care what the players say there is a mental block agaisnt them.

However the footy Gods shined on us and Sydney won by plenty. Add to that some injuries to Hawks players...

Then in a a second final we should play Kangaroos. When did they last beat us????

Then our Friends over at Alberton. A Pre-lim agaisnt us, and they will crack under the pressure. We apply our "slowdown" gameplan to them and they do. I wonder if Mr Cornes is thinking of his "dream final".

Looking at the other teams possible draws ours is actually the easiest. WCE and Sydney can play each other in a second final and Geelong will have to contend with WCE/Sydney in a Prelim....

So long as Port do the right thing and beat WCE this weekend, and they should with a 5-1 record against the WCE, we should make it to a "home" Pre-lim.

SO on Friday night, we will have to borrow some Black White Silver and Teal and GO POWER

POrt might get a sellout, some Crows supporters may go down to support Mr Cornes and his lads.

I give you a test - which is the least favoured option:-

1) Having a tooth pulled with no injection
2) Having your prostate checked
3) Supporting Port Power

For all the unpleasantries of 1 & 2 (at least they only last a short while - well I can't speak for the second option just yet), no 3 would be the least favoured option.

Would still barrack for the Coasters and seek retribution in week 3 (if we get there)

I won't be cheering for the Power. I hope West Coast get up but at least I won't be that disappointed if the tealie bandwagon side wins.

You don't have to barrack for Port if you believe that port can beat WCE by themselves ...

... so I guess it is fair to say it would be safer if we barracked for Port.

Nup, rather the Coasters smash Port, then Port have to play Geelong to reach the GF, and if they make it get smashed again by WC or Us!!!

If we are to win the GF we'll have to beat West Coast, just can't face having to barrack for Port
