we are actually playing like a rotten sock full of ***** .
We have just had the norf draw over the last month and when we played them they belted us.
That far off a serious challenger it is not funny.
best outcome is that menadue , rioli and celliss start featuring in the top 5 players.

Richmond were impressive when they beat Port Adelaide at Etihad in 2014, as the first major obstacle on the way to 9 in a row.

Richmond have yet to be impressive in any regard this year.
Beating swans didn't do it for ya ,,,,I can't recall that game going down in the annals of the greatest games of all time , that's an excuse of convenience that makes no sense

I've ranked our remaining games in order of difficulty. Does this seem about right?

Geelong
Bulldogs
Hawthorn
Sydney
GWS
Port
St.Kilda
Collingwood
Essendon

it's a tough ask but every team is vulnerable. Geelong seem to be a Jekyll & Hyde this year but they are our ultimate bogey team. The Port game is an almost elim final. If we lose that one then I think our chances take the biggest hit. The only pencil in I think would be Essendon. Anyway it's gonna be fun I just hope we give it a real shake and string some wins together. F**k the tanking bullshit.

Geelong get arrogant against lower teams, they have lost to Pies, Blues and Saints... I know we are their bitches, but after last night I honestly think we have a chance.

I don't know why but I haven't written off finals.. anything can happen.. If we turn up to play we can beat anyone.. I can see one of West Coast or even the Dogs missing if injuries hit them.. a couple of tough games
We have close enough to our best side in now, not the case until recent weeks , which gives confidence that we can beat anyone

I'd agree with this in general (except that I think we can beat St Kilda), but Richmond pull off upsets along the way. In a stretch where they are faced with difficult teams, they'll beat one or two (like we did against Sydney earlier). So, I think we'll beat one or two of Port, Bulldogs, Hawthorn, GWS, Geelong and Sydney. Out of them, I'd say one/two of Port Adelaide, Sydney and Hawthorn over the others.

I have my win/loss looking like this:

- Brisbane (W)
- Port Adelaide (L)
- Bulldogs (L)
- Essendon (W)
- Hawthorn (W)
- GWS (W)
- Collingwood (W)
- Geelong (L)
- St Kilda (W)
- Sydney (L) (a potential win if a record of 12-10 gets you into finals like it did in 2014, funnily enough against Sydney too)

So, about a record of 11-11. Even though I see GWS as a team we probably won't beat, I put GWS as a win because once Richmond go on a bit of a roll they can be tough to stop. If this occurs, then people will probably be talking about a potential Richmond charge to the finals and then the Geelong and Sydney games would probably end that talk, leaving Richmond at 9th-11th.

Or, we could just bomb out and win only 3-4 games from now, leaving us close to the bottom 4 if not in there, giving us an early 1st-round pick :D
But I don't think Richmond will do that.
I'd like to update thanks.

- Bulldogs (L)
- Essendon (W)
- Hawthorn (L)
- GWS (L)
- Collingwood (L)
- Geelong (L)
- St Kilda (L)
- Sydney (L)

This actually doesn't look that absurd either.

Will go 2-6 or 3-5, to end up 8-14 or 9-13.

Totally realistic and been the most likely outcome for weeks on end now.

There is a silver lining though.
Play as many of the kids as possible drop those that consistently fail when we need em to stand up most.We will still lose but at least we will get a look at what could be the future and we actually get games into them.

Surely this has to be the way we go from here on in. Anything else is just utter stupidity.

tanking is for losers and cheaters

Who seriously cares

Sydney - Cola
Essendon - Drugs/Hird/draft tampering
Collingwood - dodgy salary cap deals with treloar
West coast - tank/draft tampering
Hawks - Tank
Blues - Tank/Visy deal/salary cap cheat
Adelaide - Tippett deal
Melbourne - Tank
GWS - draft concession/academy
GC - Draft concessions
Geelong - dodgy salary cap deal with Clark/sending players over midseason to try recruit Boak

Plus the rest and their hand outs from the AFL covering debt/payouts/coaches salaries etc...

Why the **** should we continue to play fair when no other team does?
