Brownlow Medallist
As the season proper is only 5 weeks away I thought I'd start a series of countdown threads, with some 'interesting facts about each club, starting from the bottom of the 2009 ladder
. This will let a few "idle" minds (yes efh, I'm looking at you) re-direct their talents for good, not evil.
Peel Thunder license was issued in 1996, with the proviso they be ready for the 1997 season, which gave them 8 months (according to their web page) to be ready.
Who was the first sandover medallist? Which year?
How many Sandovers have club players won?
How many colts premierships have they won? Which year/s?
Name the player, whose wife was GM of the club. (Bonus points for this one)
Peel supporters, and others, please feel welcome to graffiti the Peel walls in here by daubing the thread with both interesting and useless information. Things like first president, first coach, first captain, longest serving etc.
Let's kick off this season with a bang, (mainly because I'm really bored with the cricket).
