Could we get Cyril?

Hawks are looking like the dynasty is over and a rebuild is on the cards. Them having traded their first draft pick which now belongs to St Kilda it is possible that the Hawks finish near the bottom and don't have a first round draft pick to soften the blow so would like to get back into the draft as early as possible.

Depending on where we finish and what our first draft pick is, could we lure Cyril to his uncle's club for a reunion with Daniel?

I understand Cyril is a Hawks favourite but now that Buddy, Mitchell and Lewis are gone the AFL landscape has changed and anything seems possible.

Cyril is a game breaker and our forward line of smalls is coming along nicely and would be even better with him there.

Should we do it? Would you want us to ask the question? Is our list at a stage where he would be a good pickup? Do we keep our pick for Shcache or another KPF?

Would be a great footy story if he came over and we won a flag. Interested to hear your thoughts.

Like the idea of picking over the hawk carcass if the season continues heading this way for them - but not sure Cyril is the type player we need. Maybe with our Griff / Elton problems we can find a 200cm forward / 2nd ruckman who is struggling and needs a fresh start if they have one????
If we can't get Ty, I agree Gunston or even Birchall would be handy for us.

Odd question. We finally look to have our small forward questions answered, so there's no pressing need for him at Tigerland. I'd be looking for a tall forward, gun ruck (although Nanks is going ok), another key defender (don't have faith in the durability of some of our backs) and at least one-two midfield upgrades before throwing the $$ and picks that would leverage Cyril out of the Hawks.

Should be looking at any kpf forward they have who was a high draft pick and is currently underperforming.

Cyril would be great, but redundant now. Who would have thought that drafting small forwards would lead us to have good small forwards??

What we need is another quality tall forward, ruck (?), KPB (?), and midfield depth. SO Gunston YES, C Rioli not really the need now due to D Rioli being on our list.
