The other day I was thinking about what would happen if the AFL was merged with or taken over by another company/ league, like in the competition AFL Rebooted. I imagined the A-League taking over the AFL, so I designed a possible new logo for if this happened.

Here's the new logo:

Thoughts?

Looks alright but would never happen. If anything it would be the other way round, the AFL is way bigger! Personally I think that A-League logo is really ugly though. It doesn't even really look like a soccer ball

Wouldn't that be a Gaelic football like variety if it was to happen?

Yeah I was more just thinking about the design, because, I agree, an A-League/AFL merger would never happen. I only thought up the idea because of the AFL Rebooted competition, which has a similar concept.

Nah I meant a merger of the leagues not the sport. But yeah I guess you would be right. I might try and mock up a Gaelic Football logo for an Australian competition

I got a bit bored so I created a Collingwood promotional poster thingy. Hope you like.

And a clash based on Norths Argy strip...

(I'm pretty proud of myself only doing these things with Paint and Word)

Pretty poor quality, so if anyone wants to clean it up a bit/ make changes you can.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, it looks crap. Just thought I would try and mock up one with the outline of the AFL logo but the text of the GAA logo. If anyone has any ideas that would be good.
