Potts reminds me of Derek Pringle. He was excellent in English conditions, but as soon as he came out here, he was smashed to all parts.

Just stay out there - the longer he bats, the more it hurts the opposition. Imagine Smith coming in at 3 for 300.

Yep. But that's the way he plays.

162 runs from just 160 balls and 25 boundaries tells me it's working a treat.

And he's giving the Poms a lesson in how Bazball is meant to be played.

Absolutely. Batting all the way down to Starc at 10. Would be criminal not to on this deck.

12 tons, 7 dismissals between 150-175.

Dude has an attention span threshold and danger zone once he gets past 150 which is incredible.

Indeed. Was hoping he’d have recharged the batteries a bit having made it to lunch, and with Smith anchoring him up the other end.
