So... Australia have named Neser at #8, ahead of Starc at #9. Given how well Starc has batted this series, and how poorly Green has batted, should Green be batting at #9?
Christ, isn't there a post about Darcy Fogarty you could be making instead?

You quadruple down on your worst opinions, it's blatant trolling.

Poms well on top with 3 wickets in the 1st host... but we have seen this before. Can they press it home this time.

Probably just as well we have a deep batting order.

I'm not confident in Weatherald ultimately having enough talent to be an Australian opener long-term.

And I don't think this test will go that far into its third day. A great toss to win for the Poms.
The longer grass on this wicket isn't conducive to a long test.

Well that's unfortunate... David Warner is back in the commentary booth for the Boxing Day Test. I thought he was out for the duration of the BBL. Unfortunately for the viewers' ears (and intelligence), it seems this is not the case.l
The Thunder don't have a game until Sunday.

Which itself is a Stars home game, but in Canberra. So it could have been worse

Wait until he hears about the WOAT Mitchell Marsh playing for the crows.

Smith out.

Adelaide Test still a chance to have a higher overall Test crowd than Melbourne...

I agree, he has always been a great player to watch when he is on but I feel like he has too many issues in his game that teams can exploit.

Probably lucky to get a 4th test

Dreadful shot by Carey
Don't think he realised there was a field change.

Green should have pointed it out to him as had a good view.

It isn't anyone else's responsibility to tell you to have game sense. A field change isn't something small, you have to be completely asleep to not notice. Just a bad error, during a fantastic season

If Carey didnt see the fielder thats not on Green
A good cricketing partner points things out that the other may not see.

But yes, Carey is ultimately responsible for his dismissal.

He actually has looked okay a few times with the bat, but has invented crazy ways to get himself out.
Will continue to say Green's main problem is the mental side of his game.
