Green has to try something. Maybe a beard like Thilthorpe's

It's got to the stage that he needs to be dropped for his own good. Even if the selectors still believe in him and still think he'll be a good test player one day, at present he's mentally shot and playing only makes things worse

Should umpires call still count as out when it comes to hitting the stumps?
Yes, because of the uncertainty regarding the DRS projections. I know it looks like a clean trace on the screen, but that's the art of visualisation. What's not shown is the uncertainty/error range. This is why it's given as "umpires call" if less than half the ball is hitting the stumps - it's simply too close for the technology to be absolutely certain, so they go with the human factor/instinct in those cases.

Maybe I haven't phrased the question correctly. I am thinking whether the umpire has given it out or not, it should be out

You still get the howler, where the ball is sailing over the top of the stumps, or swinging back past leg - and the umpire calls it "out" when it's not.

I like the current system. It allows for both human and computer errors, and generally ends up with the right result more often than either human or computers would give alone.

Lucky he didn’t play the first couple
May end up topping the English batting averages.

Pope looked like he was going to get out most deliveries, so it's been a good change.

Strange they didn't try their front line spinner through.
