He'd want to, given the amount of time they've invested in him. I hope you're right, but I fear that he'll turn out to be our Great White Whale.

In saying that, if they dropped him and brought Webster in then you'd have to say "didn't put your spot out of doubt mate." He is too good a player though, anyone who can bowl 140 clicks and bat top order is as rare as hens teeth. I do think he should be batting 6 (or 7 whilst Kegs is gunning it) and having a plan to deal with short pitch deliveries. He might need to talk to S Waugh on that, he needs a solid plan to then force teams to bowl to him, not at him.

He will get there and win series for us

Same can be said for Isa Guha. The addition of this pair has really made a positive impact on the commentary, which used to be very stale pale & male up to (about) 2020.

If only Fox could get rid of the stupidity of Mark Howard, they'd have an almost perfect commentary team - particularly now that David Warner is out of the commentary box on BBL duties.
