Anyone think Swepson could be sneaky overs at 21s for most Aus wickets for series in India. Can make it go both ways and if gets a game will be thrown the pill enough. Decent ifs but do like the odds. Also like Khawaja most runs v Handscome for series at 2 bucks. Have a feeling Handscome be a massive LBW candidate batting deep in crease on those pitches. Happy to be proven wrong tho.

Smith doesnt trust him so its a no from me. Starc reversing it will do me. Should clean up the tail when its 7/650. That should be enough

probs, they will probly opt for a batsmen spinner anyway like Maxwell to go with Gaz. Personally would play Schweppy over there. Get around him.

Hanscombe may be an lbw candidate but when it comes to playing spinners on the sub continent Khawaja is a bolwed, caught, lbw, stumped, hit wicket, timed out candidate. He is dead set awful over there.

Ha like it. Reckon Uzy is class, murali Vijay is a moral v handscome but 1.68. Won't get paid til end of March

How are his ankles/stress fractures? He was a big girl when some of the footings over here started to break down. I imagine it will be worse over there. Might even miss a match.

Was thinking about Shane Warnes " terrible body language" comments when things are going poorly from a couple of years ago too. India is defn the place for that to flare up again.

I'm not sure if our team has the ability to take 20 poles to win a match over there. Our best chance is to just bat the house down and play for a draw. Surely it's all about the spinners though. Remember kreja getting 14 poles one match. Kreja.

Swepson won't even be in the side. Touring purely for experience, might get a shot if the last test is a dead rubber but that's about it. O'Keefe would be a better bet for most wickets.

Khawaja will be lucky to hit it off the square in India let alone top scorer compared to Handscomb.

Yeah that's what's I read also. My thinking is our spinners battle game 1. Enter schweppy, not declaring any sort of moral, happy for a small nibble at 21s. Don't really see O'Keefe as a wicket taker more a tie down. Will get plenty of overs tho. Went with murali Vijay over handscome instead of khawaja. Shorter odds but reckon good thing. Still think Shaun Marsh is overs at 11s. Someone will be missing out tho between khawaja, Marsh, runsshaw and handscomb. Wouldn't be surprised to see handscomb take gloves along the way also.

No chance Swepson is playing before the 4th test. As it is Agar is in the squad as is more ready. O'Keefe normally is that type, but those types of bowlers get buckets of wickets in India. Flatter, faster spinners generally are the more successful. Look at Jadeja, dead set wouldn't turn it off the straight outside of India, and he's almost unplayable in India.

Don't be shocked if we play 6 bats, not as if Smith can't bowl his leg spinners to change up if need be. SMarsh might play, between him and Maxwell to bat at 6.

You are drunk if you think Handscomb can keep full time. As a fill in sure, but it is an utter waste of time him keeping. We need him scoring runs, not keeping.

Agree, but handscomb keeping allows another bat. Wade not best gloveman going around so not worst move to sure up the bats. This prob won't happen til 3rd or 4th game as u mentioned after Wade fails with the stick. Been doing a heap of work with Hadds apparently also, just wouldn't surprise me.

Haddin doing a master class in keeping..cue the Benny Hill theme! He was utter trash behind the stumps half the time- suits Wade I guess it's about his maximum capacity!

Handscomb can't keep in a test match.

hypothetical. say wade is injured then, or dropped. Handscomb with the gloves or send over another specialist keeper.

Specialist keeper. Easy decision too especially in India where keeping to spin is crucial.

Marsh 11s into 5s already. The old ton up in the practice game trick.

Marsh is a decent bet...the other one though (Swepson) is just throwing money away.

I'd take the $5 on Marsh, then have a saver on Handscomb.
