Take a deep breath, he's only an emergency, doesn't mean he will be playing.

yeah thats true, but it means he is on the coaches mind and that he is one step closer to playing and being a star, and being a gun and yeah the list goes on.

Yes, I wan't to see Crow in action in the AFL and also B and H Shaw.

I tell you what, if Crow makes his debut in Perth later this year I will die.

I've seen him play once, he was okay, he wasn't the greatest, I think it was against Frankston, not sure what round.

Let's not weave off track here boys. The man is emergency, I think that you guys are missing the point. He may actually play.

Walker cannot play Forward, Back or Ruck so surely Crow is a better choice in order to give Fraser more time up forward

Fair go! I don't know if he will make it but how f@kin good do you expect the guy to be at his age? He's a big, strong, athletic prospect. Play him for the rest of the year since we can't achieve anything anyway and see how he goes. do you expect teenagers to walk into the side and star? Last year he didn;t look to me like he knew much about the caper. He obviously had a lot to learn. He wouldn't be the first in that boat. Did you ever see kouta when he started out?

He will be in standing in line with Kinnear for his long service soon Mark.
How may years do we wait?
It is now year 4
What year do we say enough is enough?

The problem is we can only carry so many 'development' players - and right now we have too many of them.
Morrison
Hall
Cam
The Shaws
Richards
Rowe
Maxwell
Crow
Mullins
Nixion
Shack
King
Walker is one of them that should go because there is probably more upside with some of the others
If big and strong is the criterion for playing football we should go after Hulk Hogan.

You've named just about every first and second year player on the list. 10-12 out of 38 is about the right number especially for a young side. Taller players take a year minimum longer than the on-ballers. Walker's progress is not dramatically better/worse than other second/third year players like King Shack Nixon Mullins Rowe, Maxwell or McGough. Only C Cloke clearly stands out above this lot (along with Richards who is in his fourth year).

So I take it Crow has been promoted for a long term injury? I must have missed that.

I'm sure rookies can play a limited number of senior games (4 rings a bell) without being promoted. I'm sure this happened to Peverill in his first season.

I think you can name a rookie as emergency without promoting him. But to get a game he needs to be promoted.

Balme said on SEN that he had been promoted as a result of Wakes injury
Balme said "we will take a look at him later in the year" when asked if he would play seniors.
