AFL virtue signalling has always only mattered in low-cost scenarios. When it's a decision that risks impacting their baby, they never follow through. It'll be max 2 weeks.

It's just so dumb! I mean you have a finals series of which behind Dawson and some may argue you are better...you are the second best player on the field...on what planet would you do such a thing. I dont disagree with the bans for slurs.

I disagree with the fact that you can threaten violence multiple times to players off the field and not even get a league imposed ban at all.

It is just on a football field, I am sure he was called a this and that, poor choice of words maybe and there is no hate for a certain section behind it or anything. I just see it as a mistake, I have used homophobic words in a heated moment but had no intention that the person directed at was actually that or that I was against anyone that made that lifestyle choice.

I agree he is the one to blame if it is true, but if no evidence it could be a pretty petty way to make sure the best player isn't playing if someone was to make it up.
