I fully expect this is where they will go. A 4 'week' suspension that includes the week off and the semi-final. Back just in time for the prelim.

I did fully mean that as a joke but yeah they do have precedence with that.

Unfortunately for Crows fans this is a slam dunk for the AFL given recent suspensions and messaging.

Nobody wants to see a player rubbed out for finals and if there hadn't been so many other incidents during the season then the media and others would be applying a bit of pressure. But this one is open and shut. The AFL's hands are tied.

The AFL have said that each time this happens the punishment will get worse, so I'm expecting 5+.

Ultimately, part of the reason the AFL are so strong on this is the AFLW, and with their season just starting, there is no chance this gets discounted.
