Yeah, I'd favour Freo in the last round, you'll want to go out on a high note in front of your adoring home crowd. I don't think we'll take Freo lightly by any stretch of the imagination, we'll give it our best shot, but by Sunday all the other key matches will have been played and we'll know exactly what we have to do and where we'll finish.....I think Goody and Welshy may come back in and we'll probably heavily rest and rotate our midfielders all game, while still keeping one eye on the scoreboard.....most importantly I just hope we emerge unscathed injury-wise and play some reasonable footy.....I'm looking forward to it
I'm not that fussed if we lose to be honest, we're in the top 4 and need to try new things before the FINALS! do u guys know what they are?
anyway I'd rather us win in the finals than this game although I don't like to see us lose, I'm not that fussed!

That doesn't stop me from voicing my opinion. In what way have I disrespected the Freo fans on their board?
BTW I hope Adelaide wins to keep third spot, so that we get Collingwood in the first week of finals at AAMI.

Look, I'm not saying that I think we lose, although it will be tough I'm saying that we have stitched up a top 4 spot regardless, but I would still like to see us win the game for momentum into the finals.
However if we do lose, I won't be all that sad about it as I would for games previously as the position is just about stitched up 3rd or 4th which doesn't matter which one anyway!
Either Playing Bris at the Gabba or Port at Footy Park isn't much diff coz if we play 1 in the quarters and we lose, we on track to play the other in the prelims anyway...what is the difference!
So as i said I'm not fussed if we lose, but would still like to see us win and NO i'm not making an excuse!

Sure sounded like you were making an excuse in advance by saying that you're not that fussed if you lose , cos you're in the top 4 and need to try new things before the finals. Sounds like if you guys lose, one of the excuses will be that you were "trying new things." I actually unsure who's going to win the match.....Adelaide are definately the better side, but it's a Subi.....(not that that made any difference to Port!

Crows will win comfortably IMO by 5+ goals due to their midfield & rucks. Stinger will tag out either Haselby or Bell (probably the latter). The players will be keen to payback Freo for last year's debacle & take some winning form into the finals.

I keep hearing the crows will do it for last years loss but the crows gave us a touch up this year at Football Park so last year counts for nothing.
Freo will win cuz while we lost at Football Park earlier in the year we aint the same team at home (as many clubs have found out).
I think Longmuir, Croad, Farmer, Medhurst will be able to kick a winning score on Hart, Basset, Smart, Edwards. I also tip are backline led by Pavlich to rebound the footy & set up the midfield.
Simmonds in the ruck will also get more of the ball & be able to take Biglands all over the ground.
