Adelaide (and our nemesis, Nathan Williamson) too much for us today. Did we stick a tackle all day (apart from you Bont?) Disappointing performance by too many of our players. The season isn't lost but we've made it hard for ourselves. All hail the Bont - awesome effort skipper.

Every single player today had a genuine moment when viewed in isolation you'd say, "That guy is on an AFL list?". Except Big Red.

Feijah, Sanders, Dolan were all abhorrent. Libba was non-existent. Bont played well, but certainty left wanting.

Backmen are truly pathetic. Forget Butters, we need to invest in a proper Contest man. Watching this team pathetically flail to defend against anyone in form and/or decent is demoralising. .

I don't even know. This game was a big bowl of Pathetic on a day that was meant to be different. 7th Place our dearest love, we're back!

Appreciate the comeback against a tough opponent. But nah, filling the numbers until we land a big defensive recruit in the off season

Also -- Can anyone who regularly goes to open trainings tell me how often this squad does Tackling drills.

I liked him in the guts. Not the best user of the footy but hard at it and reads the ball well. I want him in the 22.

I reckon we played really good in patches and half the team were great and half didn’t turn up. Lost at selection, can’t play kids against men. Garcia shows a good apprenticeship is better than none at all. Garcia was miles ahead of Dolan and Hynes.

And unfortunately as long as the status quo remains, we’ll do the same with Darcy.

We’re set up to ensure we flat track bully our way to 8th/9th - which is good enough for the club.

Exactly 4 minutes on the clock, 15 points down. Umpire balls it up, O'Brien stands between English and the ball. Its exactly the free kick that umpires look for and pay as an obvious block every single time it's there.

Should have been a free and inside 50 entry to us, instead play on and the Crows take it down the other end for another couple of minutes off the clock. Putrid.

We are a 5-9 side this year.

Darcy gets umpired differently.

Too many passengers.

Our backline isn’t good enough and we went too short down there this week.

Our high pressing zone defence just constantly gets opened up against the better sides.

We will lose next week but hey we will beat up on Essendon Melbourne and the eagles over the next month
