State pride will be once again on the line as the Crows tackle the 36ers in the 2006 Yellow Corporation Basketball Challenge. The ‘Sixers’ will be out for redemption following their one-point loss in the previous encounter in 2004.
With the scores tied at 69-points apiece, Andrew McLeod cooly nailed the winning free throw to give the Crows a famous victory in the 2004 Challenge. With their reputations at stake there is no doubt the 36ers will come out firing and look to regain the Hudson Maher Memorial Cup.
The charity game is sure to feature some dazzling dunks, the usual shenanigans and plenty of entertainment from all players who take to the court.
The day will kick off at 2pm with the Crows ‘Old Stars’ taking on the 36ers ‘Legends’. This will be followed by the main event – The Crows v 36ers at 3pm.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the Hudson Maher Foundation.

coz tonight it was absolutely stinking hot and unbearable (didn't help with a full house). I can't remember in all the years being a Sixers season ticketholder having worse playing and spectator conditions!
