Possible Matchups

Crows' Backline: Smart v Lloyd (hopefully Ayres has learnt Hart is not an option), McGregor v Lucas, Stenglein V Hird (again I doubt Ayres will start him on the bench like last time), Hart v Caracella, Crowell v Barnard.

Midfield: Riccuito v Peverill (as McLeod is likely to play forward), Goodwin v Misiti (expect them to play wide of each other), Bickley v J Johnson, K Johnson v Blumfield, Bode v Ramanaskus. Alternatively, Crows may use Mattner as a run-with player on JJ.

Crows' Forwards: Stevens v Jacobs, Beinke v Fletcher, Burton v Bolton, McLeod v M Johnson. Would not be suprised if Sheedy throws Fletcher up forward as the Crows don't have a vary tall forward line & Wellman could easily play on Beinke.

Hopefully Lloyd wont make the trip he always seems to kick a bag of goals when ever he plays against the crows,

I think Peverill will start on Mcleod & i expect Ladhams to start on a wing,

Very wary of a wounded bomber & a wily old fox,

We will roll the bombers this week. Our midfield will absolutely cream theirs as they have a very slow and defensive midfield. Can you imagine Misiti and McLeod going at it against each other? McLeod will absolutely thrash him and Goodwin, Riccuito, Bode, Edwards, Bickley, Ladhams, Johnson and Stenglein have far too much skill and pace for the old bombers.

I can't see us losing this one. We'll just get so much ball to our forwards that they'll easily kick a winning score. Biglands will run Salmon ragged in the 1st quarter until Salmon gets his usual injury each game after a quarter and then Clarke will give Hille an absolute football lesson in tap ruck-work.

Can anyone else see us losing this one? Also the Bombers will be stufed from last week's blood bath against the Lions.

Verdict: Adelaide by 45 points

:) ...we need more predictions like this one!

Hope your right ajmart, but I'm expecting the Bombers to be fired up for this game & for it to be a closer result. Reckon it will be a cracker of a 1st quarter as both sides should come out firing.

I hope your team take us this lightly, we may just surprise you.:D

I'm with Go South on this one ... it was ajmart's amazing accuracy of prediction that was surprising.

Bombers didn't have on squib of a surprise in them at all. That was a finals game was it Sheedy? Then I've got news for you Kevin, your team isn't going anywhere this year.
