Exactly he will get creamed So why play the useless bastard!!! Better off playing another midfielder or Begley. ie Someone who is competent at AFL level.

Massie very unlucky IMO. Similar player to Mattner, but in better form!

The Crows have shown their hand to some degree with their selections. Begley and Doughty have pace. Mattner and Gallagher have pace and both have survived in front of Massie who hasn't.

Massie is unlucky, but it makes sense with the type of game plan they are putting together for this game.

Thank god they resisted the temptation to use the supreme scrubber Ben Marsh up forward. That would have guaranteed a loss.

Biglands will probably get a run at times up forward. I also expect my earlier tip of using small quick on-ballers up forward in an open forward line will eventuate at some stage. If we bomb the ball in long to a conventional 6 man forward set-up we won't get beaten - we will get THRASHED!!

Expect the unexpected!!! :)

It's been well and truly mentioned but Macca definitely has to be a part of this, especially if he's struggling to find the ball early.....he hasn't had much success recently against the Lions due to Hart's tight tagging so I don't think we're losing too much if he plays in the forward 50. We need a 98 prelim type performance from the champ if we're to get within 5-6 goals of the Lions.

And it's good to see we've gone for running power; strong, slick, skillful players for the GABBA trip. Only way to go, and we'll give it our best shot.

Right on the money ant. I know that we have been advocating this all week, and I hope the Crows hierarchy have been reading Bigfooty as I suspect they do. :D It really is our one chance of winning the game.

P.S. Don't forget my half of the Coopers and Crazy Horse tickets.

I agree that McLeod should be used in a role to his advantage against Hart. He is due for a big game against Brisbane. Also, a pity the BF comments can't get to the coaching staff during the game as they have been very slow to make some obvious moves of late!
