I don’t really care about today. It’s just a practice match, but the idea of any back injury or soreness is a worry. Especially with a big boy like Thrilthorpe. Don’t be want to much around with sore backs.

Agree. But now Reid is gone.
My biggest issue with him, every contract had an extra year.
Were we buying culture?
But left us short of list spots the last couple of years, with a lot of mid-age fringe flankers on the list.

Yeah I agree with your premise.
Practise game is just a practise game.
But the concern is the amount of niggles, management etc before the players have even started the physical rigours of real matches.
Lets see what fringe and young players step up today.

Have a look at the list of outs from the teams, and even the guys taken off as soon as they get a slight knock.

Learning to play through the pain got people on the park but eventually caught up with us.

Id like to believe this is the case, ill need more evidence in season
