Not cons at all, they are utility tokens.

They are powered by Chiliz and their chain. There's actually a lot of potential behind the concept for sporting clubs to make a lot of money through NFTs. Yeah for sure they might look that way, though they aren't cheap buys so pumping and dumping in larger numbers would take some capital.

Your second scenario is almost certainly what would be happening.

Which highlights the potential of the Chiliz model in that the more it becomes integrated into things like the sports world the more the tokens value can increase.

The fact it's associated with Chiliz lets people know it's no con.

Elon is just doing good business. Why would he care about the small time investors? He has billions at stake. He was smart enough to see crypto as a scam and he’s taking advantage.

Most coins are useless. And there’s nothing decentralized about crypto. It’s all controlled by the top 1%.

Only difference is Elon does his dealings in the public eye. Whereas most whales just dump and pump in the shadows.
