I reckon we should get his knee right as soon as possible and forget about this year. Get him cherry ripe for a big pre-season and watch him tear it up next year fully fit.

I was assuming his knee would be right. How thick are our medical staff playing him in the VFL with a sore knee then?!

Its their fault he is like this. They waited to long to operate last year and ****ed up his pre-season. Heads should roll over this.
Heads should roll also for all the soft tissue injuries we got this season (We have by far the most hammys done in the league), and also how 4-5 players had reoccurance of the problem again and again.

Just watching the Gell v carl game and you see Graham miss a mark and Chapman crumb and get a goal over the shoulder. We've missed cupes this year. Lloyds been great, but after watching friday nights debacle of 'just bomb it to Lloyd' we are to predictable with him sitting there while a pack forms around him.
I would have thought Friday's debacle, was the opposite of "just bomb it to Lloyd"
I was waiting and waiting in the first half for us to jsut bomb it to him given he was one out against a rookie. Instead, we did everything BUT kick it direct to him. We muddled around with it.

Because we had no one leading up from half forward to kick it to. We were often stuck in our defensive half with no one to kick to, so we took it wide while the Saints got back in numbers and triple-teamed Lloyd.
I remember right at the beginning of the game when Richards took a great overhead mark on the lead. That's what we needed all game - but then he was moved down back, and when he was moved up forward again later, he had lost confidence and didn't get near it.
We couldn't bomb it long to Lloyd, coz he was hopelessly outnumbered 1 to 4-5 Saints players. If we bomb it long, it's a turnover and a rebound.
You'll notice why so many players got the ball and stopped at HF, coz their first reaction is to look for Lloyd, but when they see Lloyd being flooded, they don't know where else to go, that's why they slowed down and wait, which gave the Saints the time to totally flood back.
We miss Cupido, he just provides that other prominent option up forward.
