I have a small HD Samsung TV in my room, and I agree the EPG is horrible and laggy. In fact I always assumed it was because of my poor antenna cabling within my bedroom wall (the wire barely carries a signal and I usually can't access SBS or any of its channels). There TV's a great but their EPG sucks balls and has so for years, it's so slow to scroll through the channels
Nope, it's a samsung thing, so annoying that I bought a different brand for my main tv because the samsungs I have in my business annoy the hell out of me. It's been the same for years and they have done nothing, surely it can't be too hard to fix, panasonic and sony are streets ahead in EPGI have a small HD Samsung TV in my room, and I agree the EPG is horrible and laggy. Make their manufacturers a lot of profit. Other than that, not sure. It's like 3D TV, a selling point to encourage people buy something they don't need.

Umm curved screens... why?
Because your arse isnt flat and neither is the front pocket of your jeans.
Then there is also the curve of your chin![]()
People... ?

Would the curve make much of a difference given the ever-decreasing width of phones? I suppose if you carry around one of those body-board-sized phones it might.Umm curved screens... why?

I've noticed that all the mobiles are increasing in size again after years of trying to make the smallest useable phones. I am slowly getting rid of my smart phones and I'm just using phones that send texts and make calls. I don't need the Internet on my phone... I have iPads and laptops for that!Would the curve make much of a difference given the ever-decreasing width of phones? I suppose if you carry around one of those body-board-sized phones it might.
