Firstly, Im pretty sure that brabs will be staying with aquinas. For me they will be the favourite to have a breakout year and head back to D1.

Secondly, Michael Hayzell will still be at salesian next year more than likely in playing role i think. They have recruited a few key names apparently, including there coach who may have brought some people with him. (Similar to parkmore's coach, moving to St Kilda City and taking the likes of Casset with him) so they may go orite, they have some young kids that were pretty solid too this year i think ? Right Foot Sloth your probably the best man to answer this post about hazell n there side since i think you play for Salesian.

Top 4 for the sake of a bit of banter is in no particular order :
Aquinas
Salesian
Willi
Werribee

Relegation: Bentleigh and Banyule

are the dimatina boys running around in 2007 ?

Also they werribee crowd is full of passionate people, i reckon its good that they are well supported especially on that wing.

Addict did you bother going to the ground at St Johns and experience the crowd there?? Or even Salesians ground. You must be one character that easily gets annoyed at a game of footy.

Yes GB i did go to St Johns and found the crowd fine compared to the bar bus that was parked at the edge of your ground. I also went to Salesian and had no problem with the supporters that day either. I agree that is one of the worst grounds i have ever seen, but I never questioned your facilities!! No GB I am not the character that easily gets annoyed at a game of footy just a person who loves the game and goes to D2 games every week. I know first hand what goes into running a footy club and would never question passionate supporters. We all have people that push passion barriers to extreme but those drunken jerks cant be for real. I tried to mention them to people on the way out and was laughed at by people that should know better.

Hey bannet we had a bus of jerks abuse us the moment we parked the car. Trading one liners etc is part of footy, but these guys went to far. Our kids, that love going to the footy every Saturday should not have to put up with that crap. Enjoy your visit down there next year !!!!!!!!!!!

I am tipping Hazel will be a better player this year without the responibility of coaching and playing.

Its a big call to say Banyule will do a triple drop ! I can't remember a side dropping three grades in three years.

Garybaldy who did you appoint as reserve coach for next year? Why was this years coach not reappointed? I know you said that beddoe was asked to leave was it a clean out of all coaches. What happened to Adam Morrow i saw him play for you boys in that granny that kid is a gun.

Daly is playing not coaching next season. Morrow has OP and has for the last couple of seasons. I agree he is a gun. His younger brother played a few games this year when not playing for the Jets. He is just as good as his brother. Be good if we could get both of them playing enough games to qualify for finals.

Thats strange Addict. We don't usually bring buses to our home games. Bit confusing if you ask me.

baldi, i think you will find he is talking about the truck on the wing...

for the record, daly had the twos job, he has had to step down due to getting a new job that will most likely involve saturday work. his position was never in question. still has intentions to play, work permitting.
 
Spoke to someone who went down to Aquinas' training - they started last week. Think they had about 50 there and Denbraber is definitely playing. Got some good Under 19's from last year too including the comp B&F winner.

Whats everyones thoughts on South Districts for next season? They won d3 pretty easily last year and have picked up 5 very good players for next year, including a former port melbourne vfl ruckmen, a port colts player who has won 2 flags in a row in a strong league, a player from warrnanbool who will be the best tagger in the comp, and a couple of other former junior players.
Is it a big step up from D3 to D2, i couldnt imagine it would be.

Good sides dont have a problem going through the grades. Especially D4, D3, D2 & D1. A clear cut best side in one of these grades would easily be at least a top 4 in the grade above.

rumour has it a few more colts boys could be heading that way........ dont know names but surely would make the districts a stronger side
the premiership player from the colts is that L.keely ??? gun player surely best in comp.....
