Great to see clubs having fantasic numbers. Exactly what all teams need before Rnd 1 .What is a massive turn out for your guys? And other clubs??:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
 
Wishing all a great season,make sure you are up with the new markings at the centre and the new rules for those circles,and,please,please,please remember that the new zero tolerance rule for umpire abuse starts on Sat.I have better things to do with my Tuesday nights.:D

We have been communicating with the umpires about the possibility of having the umpires wear orange or the like for our games. I haven't heard how this has gone.... Maybe I should cut & paste some of your comments on here into another letter.........;)

I put the request in for the umpires to wear an alternate strip when playing us - Brian was open to the idea but nothing's happened since then.

Good luck to everyone on the weekend. Getting very toey to have a kick.

PP, I think you are standing corrected!!!! SFX good 9 goal win over Eley Park.:) Only 1 game, but good first up win for the new guys!!!

Given that a long season would mean extra games on top of the 18 reg. games (finals); I would say not.
Not on yesterdays performance at any rate.

Still only a kick down at 5 minute mark of last term, but were it not for Rucky, Odza and Crackers the result would have blown out a lot earlier.

AP have improved.
If not in personel, then definitely in the brand of footy they play.
 
Great hitout against the Sharks who were a quality club and bunch of blokes. If that's the standard of clubmanship we play against this year, will be a very enjoyable year. Sensational ground, there would be few better surfaces around. If it was bigger it would no doubt be VFL standard.

We got the jump on them and banged the first 9 goals, to the Sharks' credit they lifted and the next 3 quarters were a very even contest. Their Jesus look alike captain played like a prophet and is a gun. Also the young darker skinned bloke wreaked havoc, very hard to match up on.

Cheers to Elley Park for putting on a great day, definitely a ground you should all look forward to playing on.
