You base this cal on what, if you really want to make a constuctive opinion regarding our club why dont you look at our list and realise we have half a dozen of our best players who are yet to play a game this season. That would constitute some depth i think

Have to agree there with dd44. We still have some quality to come back. Sneako, I will get you on one thing, that is, both our sides beat you blokes, so are you saying that your depth is worse???

I think we have great depth considering it is only our 2nd year of existance!!!! And results, so far, prove that!!!:thumbsu:

But, hey, wat the hell would I know??????????

Any side due to come up against RC's,The mountain Men and SFX should show great respect or you could get caught out,there is some great coaching and team work going on in D4.It's still early remember.

(I posted this yesterday but I don't think it went through so trying again)

Thanks nelluP... We haven't played a side from the top half of the table (last season) yet so we're kind of flying under the radar which is fine. Albert park should be a good test this week, we had two great contests with them last year. Mind you, we have had 85 scoring shots to about 30 in two games!

My NZ tups for round 3:

South Morn by 5 goals over Nth B
BHN by 5 goals over Syndal
SFX by 7 goals over Bulleen
rc by 1 point over AP
WB by 3 goals over Kew
ML by 7 goals over EP

DD44 - pull your head in. If you have read any of the past ten pages of posts, you should know better than to challenge SFX on any issues on this forum.

Good point about not playing any of the top sides from last year. When you put the shoe on the other foot though, Richmond Centrals weren't a top half side last year and they now sit 2-0 at second! La Trobe's poor start to the season proper shouldn't take any gloss off Richmond's preseason victory, it would have been a few years since they had knocked off that set of students...

Well, I am sure you will all be pleased that the SFXOC FC has put the taskmaster on notice and also put a media ban on me. If I stuff up again I will be sacked. The leadership group had a meeting and I am now on last chance basis. (it is the Fev rule). I over stepped the line and my comments and views on this forum were deemed to be un satisfactory.

So the forum is all yours , you will not hear from the master again.

I banned myself due to my role within our committee, but sometimes I just can't help getting on here and talking absolute bovine faeces, know what I mean? See, there I go again, just utter crappola. Sheesh. Lord-o-mighty...
Just love the fact that not many cobra folk have gotten on here of late. Just concentrating on rebuilding our football club. Letting every body else slag and bag each other. Tis great reading...

Tasky and SFX;I do not agree with censorship and as one who has been "mentioned " in your posts,I say this,if this ban had anything to do with what was said about me I disagree with it,I'm a big boy now and can take care of myself,I also don't believe umpires are a protected species,if comments are reasonable and constructive then everyone may learn something.

The pub at Tarrawingee was called the Plough Inn.
And I did whenever I could.
Not hard to cut one from the herd on a Saturday after a home game.:D
