#4 Aquinas very good.
#11 Williams made most of chances with 5 snags.
Full back with the little top knot needs credit for taking care of Maghanez. Who probably hurt the arm giving blokes plenty of rib ticklers early.
Maghamez applies pretty good pressure for a big fella and kicked goal of the day in third term.
Manningham didnt really have any run. Number 9 on the wing looked the only one with any leg speed.

I did notice one thing though.
Key goal kickers for both sides have kicked most of their 50 odd against Masala and co at the bottom.

Good contest though and must give a shout out to the smaller of the 2 umpires. He was terrific.

Aquinas too polished and were the best team all year, you need luck with injuries and unfortunately we copped them at the wrong time of the year. Still proud of our year, got promotion and will look to build and get better next season.

Not sure mate as it's my first year at the club but I did read that it's the first time out of this division ?.

Preseason ?? lol , I'd say November sometime but we need to make sure we recruit
well and have depth for those cold wet months !.

Three club has never been out of the lowest grade of the VAFA since it joined in the mid 90's. D4 didn't sound flash. F Grade sounds worse.

Well done to the bloods, great season and a great achievement for both the sides winning and the 2s going through undefeated.

Cobs should be very proud as well with their performance and getting out of D4. Both sides will contend in 2018 in Div 3.
